About the Role
Based in Hemmant, Brisbane, FS Equipment specialises in the overhaul, repair, and rebuild of industrial engines and transmissions for the marine, mining, and power generation industries. Our core business is industrial marine engines, and our reputation is built on technical depth, rapid turnaround, and getting it right the first time. We're a tight-knit team that takes pride in the quality of our work.
The Role
You'll own day-to-day sales across the business — serving customers via phone and email, processing online orders, and working hand-in-hand with our procurement and purchasing teams to see every sale through from enquiry to dispatch. It's a hands‐on role at the heart of a growing workshop, with genuine room to develop your career in sales. As you grow into the position, you'll take on regular opportunities to get out and engage with customers face to face across Australia, as well as represent FS Equipment at major industry events including the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, AgQuip, Farm Fest, and Queensland Mining & Engineering Expo. There's a clear path toward a sales management role for someone who shows the initiative and appetite to grow with us.
What You'll Do
Drive sales both in person and through our online store
Process website sales and see orders through to completion




Work alongside the procurement team to ensure all sales are completed
Support the Purchasing Coordinator to ensure all orders are filled accurately and on time
Source and track parts orders to keep jobs and customers moving
Represent FS Equipment at industry events and trade shows, building relationships with customers and suppliers
Assist with the general day-to-day running of the business
What We're Looking For
The right to work in Australia
Highly Advantageous
Industry experience within marine, mining, power generation, agricultural, or civil/earthmoving equipment
A background in customer-facing sales, customer service, or marketing
Also Valued
A friendly, customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills
Comfortable using computers and online systems for processing sales and orders
Reliable, organised, and able to juggle multiple tasks
A team player happy to pitch in wherever needed
Experience with inventory, ordering, or job-scheduling software
$80,000 – $90,000 per year + superannuation
Stable, full-time role with a respected specialist workshop
Work with a high-performing, driven team
Exposure to major industry marketing and networking events (Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, AgQuip, Farm Fest, QME, and more)
