The Role
n
n
Build a strong understanding of estimating principles through hands‐on training and guidance
n
Learn to interpret customer requirements,



relevant standards and specifications to assist with accurate product selection & installation methodology.
n
Develop the ability to read plans and complete basic quantity take‐offs for quoting.
n
Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely quotations and orders using V6 software (training provided).
n
Collaborate closely with our sales teams to support strong working relationships and smooth project delivery.
n
Participate in customer follow‐up and communication to help progress quotations through to finalised sales.
n

The Applicant
n
n
Are you looking to start your career in Estimating?
n
Foundational understanding of the National Construction Code and Australian Standards relating to windows and doors
n
Confident communicating with a wide range of people including home-owners, builders and business leaders
n
Strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task and prioritise, and to be organized and focused on task achievement
n
n
Please note: The successful applicantwill be required to undertake a full pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening to secure employment with G.James.
