Role: Salesforce Developer

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Build, configure, enhance and maintain Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud Engagement.
n
Take assigned user stories through the complete delivery lifecycle including build, unit testing, deployment, defect resolution and production support.
n
Develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flow and platform configuration.
n
Build and enhance Sales Cloud referral and sales pipelines, including leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities and associated business processes.
n
Build and maintain Service Cloud capabilities including case management, queues, routing, assignment, automation and service workflows.
n
Build and maintain Marketing Cloud Engagement solutions including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Data Extensions, segmentation and customer communications.
n
Develop and maintain integrations between Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud Engagement, as well as integrations with other enterprise systems.
n
Understand the end-to-end Salesforce ecosystem and identify cross-cloud impacts and dependencies before implementation.
n
Configure objects, fields, validation rules, Flows, permission sets, profiles, sharing models and other platform capabilities.
n




Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs and support integration patterns across the Salesforce ecosystem.
n
Troubleshoot issues across the three clouds and identify whether problems originate from configuration, code, data, integration or cross-cloud dependencies.
n
Support Salesforce releases, deployments, environment management and CI/CD processes.
n
Work closely with Business teams, Product Manager, QA, architecture and integration teams to deliver solutions aligned with agreed designs.
n
Participate in Agile ceremonies including refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives, and maintain appropriate technical and deployment documentation.

Required Skills & Experience
n
n
4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and configuration experience.
n
Demonstrated hands-on experience working across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud Engagement.
n
Ability and willingness to work across all three clouds rather than specializing exclusively in one Salesforce product.
n
Strong development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL and Salesforce Flow.
n
Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud processes including referral/lead pipelines, accounts, contacts and opportunities.




n
Hands-on experience with Service Cloud including case management, queues, routing, assignment and service automation.
n
Hands-on Marketing Cloud Engagement experience, particularly Journey Builder, Data Extensions, Automation Studio and Email Studio.
n
Experience integrating Marketing Cloud Engagement with Salesforce CRM.
n
Strong understanding of cross-cloud data flows, dependencies and impacts between Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud.
n
Experience developing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs and integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications.
n
Valuable understanding of Salesforce data models, security, sharing rules, roles, profiles and permission sets.
n
Knowledge of Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD and deployment processes.
n
Ability to take a user story from
requirements/design
through development, testing, deployment and support.
n
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments with strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
n

Desirable Experience
n
n
Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
n
Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant or Marketing Cloud Engagement
Developer/Consultant
certification.
n
Experience with MuleSoft or other enterprise integration platforms.
n
Experience with Experience Cloud.
n
Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple Salesforce clouds and integrated platforms.
