Pedco Engineering is a metal fabrication workshop located in the heart of Welshpool. We provide specialised steel solutions to industries throughout Western Australia including oil & gas, infrastructure, agriculture, mining, and defence.

About the roles
n
We are seeking experienced machine operators who are capable of:
n
n
Reading and interpreting job cards, drawings and/or specifications to determine job requirements
n
Measuring and marking plates according to requirements
n
Setting and programming machinery
n
Measuring and cross-checking finished product against drawings for accuracy and fit
n
Diagnosing faults with the machinery
n
Following company safety and quality procedures and guidelines
n
Aligning to the Pedco core values
n
Fulltime, part-time or casual positions available
n
38-hour week minimum with additional hours available Mon - Fri and on Saturday mornings
n
Day shift or afternoon shift available
n

Skills and experience
n
To be considered for this role you will:
n
n
Have previous experience operating a press brake, plate roller, section roller or pipe bender
n
Take pride in your work (in quality and efficiency)
n
Have a valid forklift licence
n
Preferably have previous overhead crane experience
n
Previous experience working with steel plates from 5mm up to 40mm would be desirable
