I'm working with a well-established Queensland construction and development business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial construction sector.

The business delivers a diverse range of projects across education, industrial, hospitality, retail and commercial sectors, including both new build and fitout projects. They have a strong pipeline of work ahead and are continuing to grow, creating a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Estimator to join the team.

The Role:
n
n
Managing the end-to-end estimating process for a range of commercial projects
n
Preparing accurate and competitive cost plans, estimates and tenders
n
Reviewing project documentation, drawings and specifications
n
Preparing and managing subcontractor and supplier packages
n
Issuing RFQs and analysing subcontractor and supplier pricing
n
Building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
n
Identifying project risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
n
Working closely with the pre-construction and construction teams
n
Assisting with tender presentations and client negotiations
n
Supporting the business in securing new projects and maintaining strong client relationships
n

About You:
n
n
5+ years' estimating experience within commercial construction
n
Proven experience pricing new build and fitout projects
n
Strong project experience across education, industrial, hospitality and retail
n
Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, costs and procurement
n
Strong subcontractor and supplier relationships across the Brisbane market
n
Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
n
Strong communication and negotiation skills
n
The ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
n
A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership of projects
n
