Job Description
Seeking a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist to deliver high-quality Consultant-level psychiatry services under a 24-month fixed-term contract. The role includes a strong academic component, with active involvement in the Northern Territory Medical Program - particularly the teaching of psychiatry to medical students - and contribution to the Postgraduate Psychiatry Training Program of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.

The Hospital

This is a Tertiary and level 3 Teaching Hospital with just under 400 beds and around 1,700 staff. The hospital services a population of 200,000 in a catchment area including urban communities, regional hospitals and remote Aboriginal communities. The hospital is affiliated with Flinders University with an onsite Medical School and is ACEM accredited as a major referral centre for two years of advanced emergency training.
