Our client is a boutique accounting and advisory firm led by one director, looking for a Business Services & Tax Manager to join their growing firm.

The client is as large by turnover as some mid-tier tax team divisions, and the firm is in growth/acquisition mode, looking to expand further.
n
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong Australian public practice experience who enjoys managing client relationships, mentoring staff, and driving workflow.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Preparing & compliance for BAS/IAS, tax returns, individuals, co's, trust, p/ships
n
Resolve/Communicate
to clients implications of Div7A, UPE, Sect. 109 requirements
n
Group structures and assessment of any inter-entity taxation issues
n
Maintain, or create loan agreements, minimum repayments etc. or pay dividends
n
STP, TPAR, MFR, QBCC reporting, BBAS, PSI, FBT, CGT and other various compliance
n
Manage a portfolio of SME/LSEs acting as a trusted adviser
n
Lead,



mentor and develop approximately 4-5 staff in your team
n
Oversee workflow management, job allocation and deadlines
n
Ensure high-quality client service and technical compliance
n
n
About You:
n
n
7+ years' experience in Australian public practice, with several as manager
n
Strong technical tax and compliance knowledge
n
Proven client and team management skills
n
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
n
The ideal candidate will have a high-calibre skillset and experience
n
