Known for its scale, complexity and robust governance culture, the business partners with international stakeholders and maintains a well-established Group Finance function that supports consolidated reporting across a diverse portfolio of operating entities.

About the Role
n
Reporting into the Senior Group Finance Manager, the key responsibilities include:
n
n
Prepare month-end and quarter-end consolidation, including cash flow preparation, financial analysis and commentary
n
Review month-end deliverables from operating businesses to understand key result drivers and ensure appropriate accounting treatment
n
Prepare periodic reporting deliverables to the parent entity
n
Contribute to quarterly performance materials for senior management, Board reporting and Group stakeholders
n
Support preparation of semi-annual IFRS financial statements
n
Support semi-annual external audit processes, including preparation of accounting papers and audit support
n
Support system-enabled reporting improvements, including automation and data quality enhancements
n
Build and maintain effective relationships with operating company finance teams
n
Partner with Group finance functions (Treasury and Tax) to support integrated reporting and analysis
n
Assist with sustainability and regulatory reporting requirements where applicable
n
Maintain strong documentation, controls and audit trails to support assurance requirements
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline
n
CA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification (required)
n
4-5 years' experience in financial reporting or Group finance roles, ideally within a large, complex or multi-entity organisation (Big 4 background well regarded)
n
High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality
n
Proactive, accountable and delivery-focused approach
n
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
n
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
n
A collaborative, team-oriented approach
