About the role
n
The First Aid Officer and Receptionist will assist and support the Registered Nurse to ensure our students are provided with exceptional quality nursing and welfare care.
n
What you will be doing
n
TheFirst Aid Officerand Receptionistwillbe responsible fora variety of tasks including:
n
n
To be the first point of contact
forstudents,staffand
visitors to Kennedy Health Centre.
n
Provide care and support to students as directed byRegistered Nurse.
n
Coordinate the morning meals for students in Kennedy Health Centre.
n
Keep
thekitchen,DayRoomand
other shared spaces tidy.
n
Monitor Kennedy Health Centre emails, alertingthe Registered Nurse tothose requiring action.
n
Undertake a variety ofadministration tasks.
n
Assistin the preparation of student wellbeing reports for off-campus
excursions,campsandsport.
n




Toassistwith patient care inan emergency situation.
n
TheFirst Aid Officerand
Receptionistreports
to theHead of Nursing Servicesand works closely
withseveralinternal
and external stakeholders.

What we are looking for
n
n
Demonstratedexperience
in a medical reception role or similar, preferably in a school workplace.
n
Previous First Aid Officer experience - HLTAID011 (Provide First Aid) [Essential]
n
Anaphylaxis experience - *****VIC (First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis) [Essential]
n
n
