Bookkeeper - Part-Time or Full-Time

An established residential construction business based in Eagle Farm is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join its growing finance team.
n
This newly created position will work closely with the CFO, taking ownership of day-to-day transactional accounts and bookkeeping activities. It is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long-term role with flexible hours and a consistent workload.
n
The position can be structured from a minimum of 30 hours per week through to full-time, depending on the successful candidate's preference. This is an office-based role working five days per week, with flexibility around daily start and finish times.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Processing supplier and subcontractor invoices
n
Matching invoices against purchase orders and job costs
n
Preparing payment runs and resolving supplier queries
n
Completing bank, supplier and account reconciliations
n
Maintaining supplier and subcontractor records
n
Following up missing invoices and statements
n
Assisting with month-end processes and general ledger maintenance
n
Supporting the CFO with BAS workpapers, reporting and system updates
n
Reconciling purchase orders within Databuild
n
Providing occasional data entry and administration support to the estimating team
n

Skills and Experience
n
n
Minimum three years' bookkeeping experience within an Australian business
n
Solid accounts payable and reconciliation skills
n
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
n
Confident using accounting software and Excel
n
Able to work independently and manage a consistent workload
n
Professional and discreet when handling confidential financial information
n
Residential construction, building or trades experience is highly regarded
n
Experience with job costing and subcontractor payments would be advantageous
n
Databuild experience is desirable but not essential
n
n
Experience with Onsite Companion, EzyScan or Therefore would also be beneficial; however, training can be provided.
