Our Lady of Good Counsel School, located in Karrinyup, is a single stream Catholic primary school comprised of students from Pre-Kindergarten through to Year 6. We are seeking a suitably qualified Education Assistant (Early Childhood).

Selection Criteria
n
n
Experience in working with young children in Kindergarten, Pre-Primary, or an early childhood setting.
n
Demonstrated ability to support the educational, social ,emotional and behavioural development of young children within a learning environment.
n
A commitment to promoting the safety,



wellbeing and dignity of all children and contribute positively to the school community.
n
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and families while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
n
Ability to follow teacher direction, manage assigned tasks effectively, and show initiative when supporting student learning and classroom routines.
n
Applicants must be willing to support the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education and be prepared to involve themselves in the extra-curricular life of the school.

Have or be willing to attain the appropriate accreditation to work in a Catholic School

Qualifications Required
n
Demonstrated qualifications in Education Support (Certificate III or IV or equivalent) and/or experience in an early childhood setting or similar.
