Job Description
n
n
Prepare and review financial statements, tax reports, and compliance filings to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting and tax standards.
n
Manage corporate tax obligations including income tax, GST, FBT, and withholding tax, alongside reporting, analysis, and advisory support.
n
Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journals, reconciliations, and general ledger management.
n
Provide financial analysis, variance insights, and reporting to support business decision-making.
n
Support audits, ATO queries, and regulatory reviews, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
n
Assist with transfer pricing, statutory reporting, and consolidation requirements.
n




Drive process improvements and implement best practices across finance and accounting operations.

The Successful Applicant
n
A successful Senior Corporate Accountant should have:
n
n
Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, i.e. a CA or CPA or equivalent.
n
5 years' experience in professional services and industry, preferably financial reporting and analysis within retail.
n
Strong knowledge of Australian tax fundamentals and compliance as well as technical accounting knowledge and proficiency with accounting standards.
n
Proficiency in using accounting software and financial systems.
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
n
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
n
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical financial practices.
n
