About the role
n
Based in North Sydney office, this full-time position sits within our Engineering team and reports to the Principal Transmission Line Engineer. You will play a key role in delivering transmission line design work supporting both tenders and active projects.
n
The role focuses on detailed engineering design, modelling and technical delivery across transmission and distribution systems. You will contribute to high-quality, compliant design outputs while collaborating closely with internal teams, suppliers and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Deliver transmission line design work including modelling and detailed engineering outputs
n
Develop PLS-CADD models and support PLS Tower and PLS Pole design activities
n
Produce line design reports, stringing charts, plan and profile drawings
n
Perform engineering calculations and develop technical specifications and documentation
n
Conduct constructability assessments and ensure compliance with engineering standards
n
Liaise with geotechnical engineers, suppliers and other external stakeholders
n
Provide technical support across tendering, construction and project delivery phases
n

About you
n
n
Degree-qualified engineer with qualifications recognised by Engineers Australia
n
Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience in the transmission line industry
n
Strong experience in transmission line design and engineering delivery
n
Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS Tower and PLS Pole
n
Solid understanding of tower and foundation design principles
n
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet deadlines
n
