$111,798 – $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 – $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
We're seeking a passionate Aeroskills educator who is committed to developing the next generation of aircraft maintenance professionals.
At TAFE NSW, you'll play a vital role in equipping students with the practical skills, technical knowledge, and industry standards required to work across aircraft mechanical, avionics, and structural maintenance environments.
Drawing on your industry experience, you'll mentor learners as they develop hands‐on capabilities in inspection, fault diagnosis, maintenance, repair, modification,
and regulatory compliance, preparing them for rewarding careers in the aviation maintenance sector.
This role is more than delivering training.
It's about fostering a strong culture of safety, airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and technical excellence, while helping students build the knowledge and practical experience that underpin successful careers in aircraft maintenance and engineering.

About You
To be successful in the role, you will:
Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical),
OR
Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics),
OR
Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures).
Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET).

Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
Highly Desirable:
CASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineering licencing.
