Reporting to the Group Maintenance & Asset Manager, the
NPI Technician
plays a vital role in maintainingthe safety, functionality, and comfort of our remote accommodationvillages and site infrastructure.
Working across our operations onan
8:6 roster
, you will be responsible forensuring camp facilities and essential services remain operational,well-maintained, and compliant with site standards.
This is a hands-on role suited to a proactive and versatilemaintenance skilled who enjoys working in a dynamic remoteenvironment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general building and facilities maintenance,including basic carpentry, painting, flyscreen repairs,furniture assembly, and minor repairs.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance onvillage infrastructure, including potable water systems, sewagetreatment facilities, lighting, and associated services.
Perform basic HVAC maintenance, including cleaning andreplacing air-conditioning filters in accommodation rooms andcommunal areas.




Maintain camp grounds and external areas, ensuringwalkways, landscaping, waste management, and general sitepresentation meet required standards.
Complete maintenance activities and work orders through thesite's Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS),ensuring accurate and timely record keeping.
Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency situationssuch as water leaks, utility interruptions, and infrastructurefaults to minimise disruption to site personnel.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contributeto a positive safety culture across all operations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A recognised trade qualification in Carpentry, Plumbing,Electrical, or a related discipline, or substantial experiencein a maintenance/handyperson role within a commercial,industrial, or mining environment.
Previous FIFO, mining camp, remote village, or siteinfrastructure maintenance experience.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with theability to work independently.
A demonstrated commitment to workplace health, safety, andenvironmental standards.
A current Manual Driver's Licence.
High Risk Work Licences, including Forklift and/or ElevatedWork Platform (EWP), will be highly regarded.
