Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support the design, delivery, and operation of enterprise network infrastructure within a large, complex utility environment.
Working as part of a high-performing infrastructure team, you will play a key role in delivering network upgrades, supporting critical operational systems, and driving network performance, security, and reliability across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless, and firewall environments
Manage Cisco switching, routing, VPN, and network security technologies
Support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues
Work closely with infrastructure teams, vendors, and project stakeholders to deliver enterprise network solutions
Maintain network documentation, standards,



and operational procedures
Provide technical support and act as an escalation point for complex network incidents
Key Requirements
5+ years' experience as a Network Engineer within large enterprise environments
Robust hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routing and switching
Experience designing and delivering enterprise network projects
Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, network security, and intrusion detection/prevention technologies
Experience supporting highly available enterprise network environments
Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP highly regarded
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
