Lead policy and reform projects from development through to implementation
Analyse complex policy issues, data and legislation
Prepare high-quality briefs, reports, presentations and correspondence
Influence and negotiate practical policy solutions
Lead and support a high-performing team
Build robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Identify and manage risks in a complex and changing environment
The successful candidate will have:
Strong strategic policy and implementation experience
Experience leading policy, reform, projects or programs in the public sector
Excellent analytical, written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Sound judgement and governance capability
Experience working with legislation
Knowledge of the disability sector, strategic commissioning or Commonwealth procurement would be advantageous
