Sydney

Remote really does mean remote.
No clinic.
No office.
Our Greater Sydney team has grown to around 20 people across Behaviour Support, Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology.
Our OT team in the region is still small, and we're looking for an Occupational Therapy Team Leader who can create the kind of team people want to be part of.
We're a remote workplace and we own it.
Our clinicians work from home, see clients locally and manage their own diaries.
It won't suit everyone, and that's okay.
What we don't want is remote work to mean working alone.
Our team is highly engaged online, managers are accessible and give you visibility of their diaries and we make a point of getting together in person too: team breakfasts on us, plus a few dinners and catch-ups through the year.
(MS Teams is useful. But sometimes you actually want to sit across from another human and eat bacon).
The role
You'll initially support a small OT team of around
2-3 clinicians
and may also provide leadership to clinicians interstate.
We're looking for the kind of leader people trust, enjoy working with and talk positively about - the sort of leadership that helps valuable clinicians stay and makes other good clinicians curious about joining.
You'll also maintain a reduced
clinical caseload
, shaped to your age groups of interest, because if we're asking you to lead people, we need to give you time to actually lead them.
That typically involves:
Clinical supervision, mentoring and development
Supporting complex cases and clinical quality
Monitoring caseloads,

capacity and performance
Supporting onboarding and capability development
Creating connection and engagement across a remote team
How we work
Our goal is to provide clients and stakeholders with a genuine five-star standard of service.
We trust our clinicians to manage their own diaries, structure their week and work out the best way to deliver that.
That means
real autonomy, with clear accountability.
Our standard full-time clinical KPI is
27 billable hours per week
, with a reduced KPI for the Team Leader role.
Who we're looking for
AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
Strong NDIS experience
Supervision, mentoring or coaching experience
Confidence supporting and engaging a remote team
A driver licence and reliable vehicle
You don't necessarily need to already have "Team Leader" on your CV.
We're more interested in whether you're the clinician people naturally turn to for support and whether you know how to give people autonomy without disappearing when they need you.
The practical stuff
Work from home + local community visits, competitive base salary, super, bonus opportunities, laptop, mobile phone, kilometre reimbursement, PD allowance, internal PD and regular supervision.
You'll report to our experienced
National Manager - Occupational Therapy
and have access to broader leadership support and development.
You don't have to hate your current job to have a conversation about another one.
Interested but not actively looking?
That's completely fine.
