The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Information Resources Specialist to join our Knowledge & Expertise (K&E;) team, on a full-time, permanent basis.
n

Our specialists across our expanding K&E; function empower our legal teams with insights, skills and tools so that they can deliver exceptional client service across the globe.

The Information Resources Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of electronic subscriptions across the firm's global offices from acquisition and renewal through to de-selection.
n
The role is key to maintaining records, data integrity,
and access across collection systems.
n
While ideally based at our Global Delivery Centre in Brisbane, the Information Resources Specialist could also join us in either Melbourne or Sydney.
n

We are interested in hearing from people who have:
n
n
A degree in Library and Information Studies, Information Management or a related discipline, with eligibility for ALIA membership, or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience.
n
3+ years of experience in acquisitions, subscriptions, collection management, or information resource management within a library and information service.
n
Experience working with a library management system performing library acquisitions, cataloguing and processing tasks, with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage multiple assignments and competing deadlines.
n
Solution-focused approach to problem solving with critical, reflective and creative thinking, coupled with a process improvement mindset.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a geographically dispersed global team.
n
