The Role

An opportunity has become available for a motivated and detail-focused Graduate Accountant to join our Finance team in Glen Iris.
n
Reporting to the Group Accountant and working closely with the Finance Manager, this role will provide hands‐on exposure across financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance and general accounting activities.
n
This is an ideal opportunity for a recent accounting graduate looking to begin their career within a large and supportive finance team. You will receive excellent exposure across the broader accounting function, with strong opportunities to learn, develop and progress within the business.

Key Responsibilities
n

Assisting with month-end journals, including accruals and provisions
n
Preparing balance sheet and bank reconciliations
n
Maintaining the fixed asset register
n




Processing and reconciling intercompany transactions
n
Supporting monthly financial reporting
n
Investigating financial variances and discrepancies
n
Assisting with compliance requirements, including BAS preparation
n
Supporting stock recosting and financial data accuracy
n
Contributing to process improvement initiatives across the finance team
n

About You
n
n
Recently completed or nearing completion of a degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business
n
Proactive and energetic, with a genuine desire to learn and develop
n
Planning to commence CA or CPA studies
n
Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs and PivotTables
n
Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
n
Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
n
Experience with Pronto ERP is desirable but not essential
n
Previous accounting experience is welcomed but not required
n
Based in Glen Iris, Victoria
n
