The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Small Works (SMWX) Project Engineer to join our Digital Building Business.
Reporting to the Solution Delivery Manager will be located at our Adelaide office, this role is responsible for Engineering and Commissioning of SMWX projects – Building Management Systems (BMS).
Delivering works to the site standard or national engineering efficiency program (EEP) standards.
The successful candidate will also undertake basic project management activities including project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, monitoring project progress, managing project documentation and supporting the delivery of projects within agreed scope, budget and timelines.
Adherence to Schneider Electric's Customer Project Process (CPP) focuses on improving operational performance and ensuring consistent execution everywhere.
Collaboration and Cooperation with Admin, Sales and Service support teams will be vital, as well as being open to new learnings as you develop yourself within the Schneider business.

In addition, you have the following skills:
Tertiary or trade qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or related discipline
Understanding of building management systems principles with ideally 5+ years of relevant industry experience
Experience with project design documentation
Commissioning of BMS controls in conjunction with HVAC commissioning
Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of IT network infrastructure and structured cabled systems
Experience coordinating project activities and managing multiple priorities across concurrent projects.
Ability to monitor project schedules, identify delivery risks and proactively escrow issues where required.
Experience managing project documentation, progress reporting and stakeholder communications.
Understanding of project delivery principles including scope, budget and schedule management.
Electrical License (full or restricted) desirable
Valid Australian Driver's License
Ability to successfully obtain a defence clearance which would include unrestricted working rights
