We are seeking an
Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Cultural Representative
to support First Nations clients and their families through culturally informed engagement, connection and support services.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in helping clients strengthen their connection to culture, community and identity while working collaboratively with Elders, community organisations and service providers to improve outcomes.
This is a flexible part-time opportunity,
$92,000 - $104,000 + Super (pro-rata)
(approximately 0.6 FTE / 3 days per week) with flexibility around how hours are worked for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Support First Nations clients to strengthen cultural identity, connection and wellbeing.
Facilitate cultural activities, groups and community engagement initiatives.
Build relationships with Elders, community organisations and support services.
Participate in support planning and service coordination activities.
Advocate for culturally secure and inclusive practices.
Provide cultural guidance and support to staff and stakeholders.
Contribute to positive outcomes for clients,



families and communities.
About You
You identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and communities.
Strong understanding of cultural connection, healing and community engagement.
Experience facilitating groups, activities or community programs.
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identified position.
Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services, Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, or related discipline.
Current Working With Vulnerable People registration.
Current Driver's Licence.
