About the Role
As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary youth mental health team to provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments and deliver focused clinical therapy, counselling,
and psychological interventions to young people aged 12 to 25 experiencing mental health disorders within a primary care setting.
You will provide specialist triage, comprehensive assessments, ongoing review of client progress and outcomes, care planning and coordination, and client support.
You will deliver evidence-based counselling and therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings across the Southern Adelaide region, contribute to the development and implementation of group programs, liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders, participate in individual and group supervision as well as team and external meetings, and facilitate referrals for clients and their families/carers to appropriate services as required.

Experience Requirements
Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment.
Provision of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and/or other evidence based
therapies with young people aged ***** who have a mental health disorder.
Relevant experience in the area of youth mental health.
Experience in delivery cognitive behaviour therapy, and other evidence based
interventions for youth mental health difficulties.
Qualifications
Psychology
Social Work – with Mental Health Accreditation through the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
Occupational Therapy – with Mental Health Endorsement recognised by Occupational Therapy Australia
Nursing – must be a Registered Nurse with Credentialed Mental Health Nurse status through the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses
Other Requirements
Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)
Current Child Safe Environments (Through Their Eyes) Training (or willing to obtain)
