Work with a well-established team supporting major mining clients (FMG, Rio Tinto)
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of fleet and plant
Diagnose mechanical faults and perform breakdown repairs
Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
Ensure all work is completed to safety and compliance standards
Complete job cards, service reports, and maintenance records accurately
Liaise with workshop team and fleet coordinators to ensure asset availability
Fleet Includes
Truck-mounted EWPs




Cranes (VLC & crane borers)
Frannas
Rigid and prime mover trucks
Earthmoving equipment (excavators 5-35t)
Drill rigs (T45, Soilmec, IMT)
Light vehicles (Hilux, Prado)
About You
Trade qualified
Heavy Duty Mechanic
Experience working on heavy plant and mobile equipment
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
High attention to detail and commitment to safety
Requirements
Relevant Trade Qualification
Current Driver's Licence (HR desirable)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & National Police Clearance
Strong understanding of maintenance and compliance requirements
