Job Description
Our teams build products for internal and external customers across SEEK Pass and the wider SEEK Group.
A Software Engineer is a core member of one of our SEEK Pass Engineering teams who is eager to learn and grow their technical skills.
As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with senior team members while continuing developing your expertise in software development and engineering practices.
You will develop software within product delivery/systems/platform teams, contributing to code quality, learning from experienced engineers, and demonstrate enthusiasm for your craft through user-centric, reliable solutions.
Responsibilities
Contributing to building, maintaining and improving our platforms
Learning about security and privacy best practices for user data
Assisting with partner and authority integrations
Growing your understanding of business requirements and product direction

Ruby on Rails and Node.js
React and React Native
GraphQL
Terraform
All aspects of AWS
Qualifications

Here are some things we would regard highly:
Some experience or strong interest in back-end and/or front-end development, ideally with RoR, Node.js or React/React Native
1 to 3 years of software development experience
Ability to write clean, readable code
Interest in learning about scalable, secure systems architecture
Basic understanding of software design principles
Familiarity with agile software development practices
Curiosity about microservices architecture
Willingness to learn about third-party system integrations
Interest in developing data and application security knowledge
Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS preferred) or eagerness to learn
