Registered Nurses
to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team delivering high-quality primary healthcare within a secure correctional environment in
Melbourne's western suburbs

About the Role
Working as part of a collaborative clinical team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, supporting both acute presentations and ongoing health needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments and developing appropriate care plans
Providing evidence-based primary healthcare and nursing interventions
Administering medications and treatments
Monitoring and managing acute and chronic health conditions
Responding to urgent and emergency clinical presentations
Supporting health promotion, preventative healthcare and patient education
Working closely with GPs, Nurse Practitioners, allied health professionals and other members of the multidisciplinary team
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
Contributing to a safe, secure and therapeutic healthcare workplace
Supporting a broader continuity-of-care approach for patients

What We're Looking For
We're interested in hearing from Registered Nurses who bring strong clinical skills, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to patient care.
To be considered, you will have:
Current
AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
Relevant nursing experience in areas such as
acute care, emergency, mental health, aged care, primary healthcare or correctional/forensic health
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and clinical documentation skills
The ability to work professionally within a secure and structured setting
Current immunisation status in line with role requirements
Previous correctional or forensic healthcare experience is highly regarded, but
is not essential
.
