We have an exciting opportunity to join our Government Services Business as a Strategic Mental Health Specialist.
This is a permanent role based in Sydney or Charlestown available.
About The Role
Develop and drive best-practice mental health claims strategies, including the design, monitoring, and progression of psychosocial claim initiatives across the business.
Conduct strategic analysis of claim portfolios and cohorts to identify opportunities and build implementation plans that improve claims performance outcomes.
Coach and upskill Return to Work Specialists and claims teams on early psychological claim review,
secondary psychological components in physical claims, specialised treatment advice, treater liaison, and managing customer vulnerability escalations.
Develop and deliver mental health training and resources for internal teams and employer clients, promote mentally healthy workplaces, and elevate injury prevention opportunities to the relevant manager.
Partner with internal SMEs, external experts, and prospective clients to implement the mental health strategy, contribute to tenders, and represent Allianz's psychological injury management expertise at conferences and industry events.
About You
Allied Health degree (preferably in a mental health discipline) with hands‐on experience in injury management, occupational rehabilitation, claims management, and/or return to work.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and empower individuals and teams to reach their potential, while making sound independent and cooperative decisions with accountability.
Strong communicator who delivers engaging presentations and works effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders to drive positive customer experiences and business value.
Ability to identify adverse trends and improvement areas, develop remediation plans, and manage competing priorities and resources effectively.
Demonstrated capability with systems, software, databases, reporting tools, and communication platforms relevant to the role.
