We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day accounts payable function across the business.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a diverse portfolio, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and is looking to build their experience within the property development and construction industry.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process and ensuring invoices and supplier payments are processed accurately and on time.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing supplier invoices and subcontractor invoices
Matching invoices to purchase orders, contracts and supporting documentation
Obtaining invoice approvals and resolving discrepancies
Preparing and processing weekly payment runs
Managing supplier accounts and responding to supplier queries
Maintaining accurate accounts payable records
Reconciling supplier statements and investigating outstanding items
Assisting with project-related cost allocation and invoice coding
Monitoring outstanding invoices and ensuring accounts remain up to date
Assisting with month-end processes and reporting




Supporting the broader Finance team with general accounting and administrative tasks as required
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
With 5 years' experience in accounts payable or a similar finance administration role
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident working with large volumes of invoices and financial information
Comfortable communicating with suppliers, consultants and internal stakeholders
Reliable, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
Confident using MYOB and Exel spreadsheets
A strong team player with a positive and professional approach
Previous experience in
property development or construction
is highly regarded but not essential
