Job Description Summary
At Service Stream, we're committed to keeping our people connected, supported, and safe. We're looking for an experienced Workplace Manager to lead the delivery of workplace and facilities services across our national property portfolio.
About the Role
Location : Collins Street, Melbourne (with national oversight and occasional travel)
Work type : Full time permanent
This is a hands‐on leadership position responsible for the day-to-day management of workplace and facilities operations across a diverse national portfolio. You'll lead a small team and work closely with internal stakeholders, landlords, contractors, and service providers to ensure our workplaces support operational excellence across the business.
Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operation and performance of Service Stream's national property portfolio.
Develop and maintain facilities maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance programs.
Coordinate workplace maintenance, service requests, and contractor response activities.
Manage relationships with landlords, contractors, and service providers to ensure high service standards and value for money.
Oversee workplace health and safety compliance across all facilities.
Lead and develop a team of Workplace/Facilities Coordinators.
Manage facilities budgets, operational expenditure, supplier approvals, and property-related financial reporting.
Plan and deliver property projects including site mobilisations, relocations, fit-outs, and workplace upgrades.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimisation, and cost‐saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory obligations,



and sustainability objectives.
About you
At least 5 years' experience in property, workplace, or facilities management.
Strong experience managing facilities operations across multiple sites.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to engage, influence, and develop teams.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong financial acumen, including budget management and cost control.
Experience managing contractors, service providers, and supplier performance.
Demonstrated experience delivering workplace or property‐related projects.
A proactive, solutions‐focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a quick‐paced environment.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
