We are looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to join our Sarina team and play an important role in the day-to-day success of the store.
About the Role As Retail Manager, you will help lead the retail operations of the store, support and develop the team, and ensure our customers receive an exceptional experience every time they visit.
This is a ***** hour per week role, working across 4–5 days , with flexibility around the hours worked.
We are open to arrangements that may suit someone looking for school-hours work, such as approximately 9am–3pm , or another mutually suitable schedule.
The hours and roster can be discussed based on the right candidate and the needs of the store.
What You'll Do Lead, support and motivate the retail team to deliver outstanding customer service Oversee the day-to-day retail operations of the store Help drive sales, promotions and retail performance Maintain high standards of presentation, merchandising and customer experience Monitor stock levels, inventory and product availability Support staff training,



development and performance Assist with rostering and team coordination Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally Ensure the store operates in line with company policies, procedures and relevant health and safety requirements Work closely with the Pharmacist in Charge and wider store team to achieve the store's goals Identify opportunities to improve the store, team and customer experience What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Has previous retail management or leadership experience Is confident leading, supporting and developing a team Has strong communication and interpersonal skills Is organised and able to manage competing priorities Has a genuine focus on delivering excellent customer service Is comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment Has good computer and point-of-sale skills Takes ownership and follows through on commitments Is positive, approachable and enjoys being part of a team Is aligned with our values and puts people first Experience in pharmacy, health, beauty or community retail would be highly regarded, but we are also open to experienced retail leaders from other industries.

Company Overview Douglas Chemists is one of Australia's oldest pharmacy networks, operating pharmacies under the brands of Priceline Pharmacy, Discount Drug Stores, Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse and Soul Pattinson Chemists.
Established in **** by John Douglas when he opened his first pharmacy (John Douglas Chemist) in Goulburn NSW, which he still owns to this day now trading as Priceline Pharmacy Goulburn.
The business has grown to a dynamic partner lead model with pharmacies across QLD, NSW, and the ACT, many in rural communities.
John still works in the various pharmacies, he is a hands-on person who is passionate about developing people particularly pharmacists and creating career pathways.
