This Government agency is designed to enhance the lives of many Australians across the country and has an opportunity for a Participant Support Officer to join their team.
This role will support the delivery of services to participants, working across participant matters, assessments, stakeholder enquiries and operational activities.
Based in Midland, this is a labour hire assignment, working Monday to Friday, full-time hours.
*You must be an Australian Citizen to apply for this role* About the Role The Participant Support Officer is a team-based position responsible for managing an allocated workflow, setting priorities and undertaking moderately complex work under the guidance of team leaders.
The role requires sound judgement, strong communication skills and the ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, policies, procedures and operational guidelines.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Undertaking reviews and accurately transferring information across systems and web-based forms Managing and resolving participant matters, including moderately complex planning pathway tasks Responding to phone and email enquiries Making outbound calls to participants, providers and other stakeholders Undertaking suitability assessments for entry into and exit from specialist planning streams Managing allocated workflows and competing priorities to meet Agency objectives Supporting project activities including research, analysis,



project planning and reporting Working collaboratively within the team and providing support and guidance to other Participant Support Officers About You You will be a confident communicator who can work sensitively with participants while remaining calm and qualified when dealing with complex or challenging matters.
You will also demonstrate: Strong communication and active listening skills The ability to manage competing priorities and a varied workload Sound judgement and problem-solving skills The ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines Confidence dealing with moderately complex enquiries and stakeholder matters The ability to work collaboratively and provide support and guidance to colleagues Previous experience in administration, government, community services, disability services or a customer-focused environment will be highly regarded Ability to pass a National Criminal History Check Don't miss out – APPLY NOW!
