We are currently looking for a full-time trade qualified Chef to work out at our Hail Creek Village – Suttor Development Road, Hail Creek, Qld, ****, catering for approximately ******* residents.
This role reports directly to Head Chef site management.
Roster is 14 days on, 7 days off working 10 hour days.
Flights ex Brisbane, accommodation and meals included.
Local are encouraged to apply on a drive-in, drive-out basis.
Full-time salary is $98,587 + super.
The Position Support daily kitchen operations across breakfast, crib dinner service Prepare high-quality meals in a fast paced, bulk catering workplace Assist with supervising kitchen hands and maintaining smooth service flow Maintain food quality, presentation and portion consistency Follow food safety, HACCP and OH S standards always Assist with stock control Maintain cleanliness,



hygiene and kitchen organisation in line with Compass standards Deliver excellent customer service and contribute positively to team culture The Person Trade Cert III in Commercial Cookery Reliable, hardworking and confident working in a FIFO environment Experience in bulk catering/ cooking environments Strong kitchen skills with knowledge of procedures, prep and service operations Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Positive attitude, adaptable and motivated to deliver quality food consistently Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards and HACCP practices The Benefits You will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
