As Head of Unit, you will provide strategic and clinical leadership across antenatal, labour and birth, postnatal and gynaecology services.
You will also have protected time to lead service development, clinical governance, quality improvement and workforce initiatives.

Your Role As Head of Unit, you will: Provide strategic and clinical leadership for Obstetrics and Gynaecology services.
Deliver high-quality specialist care across maternity and gynaecology.
Lead, mentor and support medical and multidisciplinary staff.
Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability and professional development.
Drive service innovation, clinical governance and quality improvement.
Support safe, contemporary and evidence-based models of care.
Contribute to workforce planning and sustainable service growth.
Develop strong relationships across the health network and wider community.
Support teaching, supervision and the development of junior medical staff.

What Is Offered?
Indicative Total Remuneration of $355,428$509,367 per annum .
Additional $10,333 annual managerial allowance .

About You We are seeking an accomplished Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who offers: Broad clinical expertise across obstetrics and gynaecology.
Demonstrated clinical leadership or service-management experience.

The ability to lead and develop high-performing multidisciplinary teams.

Essential Requirements Applicants must hold: An MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
Appropriate specialist qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Specialist registration, or eligibility for specialist registration, with the Medical Board of Australia in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The successful applicant will also be required to satisfy the relevant credentialling, immunisation and pre-employment screening requirements.
