About the Role As a Risk Analyst, you will investigate customer and transaction activity, assess unusual behaviour and potential financial crime indicators, and make informed risk-based decisions.
Working within a collaborative team environment, you'll help ensure regulatory obligations are met while protecting customers and the organisation from financial crime risks.
Key Responsibilities Conduct customer and transaction assessments and investigations.
Review unusual activity and identify potential AML/CTF, sanctions, and financial crime risks.
Accurately document investigations, findings, and risk decisions.
Escalate high-risk customers and matters when required.
Meet service level and productivity targets while maintaining quality standards.
Maintain detailed audit trails and case documentation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support broader team initiatives.
Stay informed on emerging financial crime trends, typologies, and regulatory developments.
Contribute to continuous improvement and process enhancement activities.
About You You may be an experienced Financial Crime professional, or you could be looking to build your career in the field.




We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate: A genuine interest in Financial Crime, AML/CTF, fraud, risk, compliance, or investigations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and sound judgement.
The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business systems.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desirable Experience Qualifications Studies in Criminology, Law, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Risk, Intelligence, Cyber Security, Justice Studies, or a related discipline.
Previous experience in Financial Crime, Fraud, Banking Operations, Compliance, Risk, Investigations, Law Enforcement, Intelligence, or a similar field.
Understanding of AML/CTF obligations and risk management principles.
Experience working in financial services or another regulated industry.
