The role Working alongside the Financial Controller, you will examine how core finance processes currently operate, what they are intended to achieve and where they can be improved.
You will follow processes end to end, from source transactions and journal entries through to balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting and audit evidence.
Combining hands-on accounting with process analysis, you will identify root causes, redesign workflows and help implement practical improvements.
Key responsibilities: Reviewing financial control processes from transaction initiation through to reporting and audit Identifying inefficiencies, duplicated effort, control gaps and opportunities for simplification Supporting journals,



reconciliations, month-end reporting and other hands-on accounting activities Documenting existing processes and designing stronger, more scalable ways of working Partnering with finance stakeholders to implement improvements and embed lasting change Improving the quality, consistency and accessibility of reporting and audit evidence About you You will be a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys understanding how things work and finding better ways to deliver an outcome.
You could be an Accountant, Finance Analyst or Finance Transformation professional looking to broaden your exposure within a growing business.
