Job Description About the Role: As the Store Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the store, inspiring a high-performing team, and fostering a positive, customer-focused culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive sales and operational performance while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you'll play a key role in achieving business objectives and creating an environment where both team members and customers thrive.
Key responsibilities include: Health Safety Champion a strong safety-first culture by promoting safe work practices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, proactively identifying and reporting risks, and engaging your team in safety initiatives.
Financial Operational Performance Drive profitable store performance through effective management of sales, budgets, margins, inventory, and rostering.
Utilise business reporting, scorecards, and workforce management tools to maximise results, control costs, and minimise loss.
Leadership Sales Growth Lead by example and bring the Autobarn values to life every day.
Inspire, motivate, and empower your team to achieve sales targets, deliver operational excellence, and provide outstanding customer service.
Store Presentation Standards Ensure the consistent execution of retail processes, visual merchandising standards, promotional activity, and store presentation, creating a welcoming and engaging shopping experience for every customer.
People Development Culture Build and develop a passionate, capable team by recruiting for values, coaching performance, recognising success, and creating opportunities for growth.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture that encourages accountability, engagement,
and service excellence.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience as a Store Manager or senior retail leader Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high‐performing teams A sales‐driven mindset with the capability to deliver financial results and KPI's Exceptional customer service and communication skills A values‐led, collaborative, and adaptable approach, with the ability to lead change and build solid customer and retail relationships Commitment to workplace health safety, compliance, and risk management practice Additional Information What's in it for you?
