Full-time Continuous Contract 37.5 hours per week $94,****** - $109,****** per annum Total Effective Package* $116,388 - $134,242 About the role The Procurement Officer oversees the purchasing and procurement systems of Congress to achieve best practice procurement in accordance with legislation, audit requirements and Congress policies and procedures.
The role will also administer the tender, expression of interest and preferred supplier list of Congress.

To be onsidered for this position you will require: A strong understanding of best practice procurement procedures, including probity, tenders,
EOI's and preferred supplier management.
A strong understanding of inventory management, including monitoring expiry dates and maintaining a sufficient supply in a remote workplace.
Experience in managing contracts and reviewing contractual terms to ensure that Congress is achieving value for money.
Experience in electronic financial, procurement and stock management system.
Ability to communicate effectively with varying audiences with different levels of financial literacy, both in writing and verbally.
Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations if required.
