We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Casual Lifestyle Assistant to join our team, working approximately 3 days per week. This role would suit a newly graduated candidate or someone looking to begin their career in lifestyle and wellbeing within aged care. Previous experience in the role is not essential; however, a Certificate IV in Ageing Support or Aged Care is required.
The Role
The Lifestyle Assistant plays an important hands‐on role in supporting the health, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents. You will help create meaningful and engaging experiences that support residents' emotional, social, cultural, spiritual and physical wellbeing. We are looking for someone who is caring, creative, energetic and genuinely enjoys connecting with older people.

What you will do
Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities based on residents' interests and abilities
Build positive relationships with residents and their families
Encourage social connection, participation and wellbeing
Work alongside the Lifestyle and Care Teams
Assist with maintaining basic lifestyle records and documentation
Follow our person‐centred approach, policies and procedures
Who are you and what will you bring?
Minimum Cert IV in Aged Care or equivalent
Experience in providing daily care and activities to clients
Experience in working in an Aged Care setting
Currently hold and maintain an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
Be passionate about delivering a person‐centered approach to care
Demonstrate solid verbal and written communication skills
