Sub Acute Allied Health team as a Social Worker (Level 4)
and use your advanced clinical expertise to make a meaningful difference for patients and families with complex needs.
- About the role
You'll provide advanced Social Work services including assessment, counselling, advocacy, liaison and referral, while contributing clinical leadership to the Social Work service.
You'll also have the opportunity to:
Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and support to Social Workers and students.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Lead and contribute to quality improvement, service evaluation and service redesign.
Support effective clinical risk management and patient safety.
Contribute to evidence-based, person-centred and culturally safe care.
Influence the ongoing development of Social Work services across MNCLHD.
- About you
We're looking for an experienced Social Worker with:
Advanced clinical skills and experience managing complex presentations.
Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in clinical supervision and mentoring.
Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, service evaluation,
planning and/or redesign.
Sound understanding of clinical risk management and reporting.
Relevant Social Work qualifications and eligibility for, or membership of, the relevant qualified association.
A current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence and ability to travel across MNCLHD.
