REMOTE SPEECH PATHOLOGIST | PIONEERS TUTORING & SPEECH
Australia-wide | Remote | Permanent Part-Time (~30 hrs/week)
We're Pioneers Tutoring & Speech, and we're growing! We're done with "fix-it" therapy. Kids with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and other language differences don't need to be fixed—they need someone who shows up genuinely thrilled to work with them and provides neurodivergent-affirming care.
About the Role
Go past basic articulation. Structured literacy, phonemic awareness, phonics, and the oral-language-to-reading pipeline—this is where you'll do your deepest work. You'll deliver a balanced mix of comprehensive speech and cognitive assessments, direct therapy, and developmental therapy. You'll also have dedicated, billable indirect time built in for reporting, scoring, and planning. You have full clinical autonomy with no rigid, word-for-word scripts—just your clinical judgement and your personality.
What You'll Do
Deliver speech pathology sessions and comprehensive speech and cognitive assessments
Bring your own clinical judgement and personality to sessions—this isn't a rigid, script-led role
Deliver developmental therapy sessions alongside your speech caseload
Enjoy dedicated,
billable time for reporting, scoring, and session planning
Watch kids rewrite their own story—not "become better communicators" in the abstract, but actually get there, session by session
Work with a high-value caseload of engaged families who prioritise intervention

SPA membership (or eligibility)
2–5+ years paediatric experience with strong clinical assessment skills
Passion for neurodivergent-affirming care
Warmth and energy that's real, not performed
