Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as psychologist
PsyBA Board Approved Supervisor status
Endorsement as Clinical Psychologist
Relevant postgraduate qualifications in clinical psychology
Doctoral qualification in psychology or related discipline
Demonstrated experience in higher education teaching, clinical training, research supervision, academic leadership
Research, scholarship or professional practice profile appropriate to Academic Level D or E
Capacity to lead high-quality curriculum, assessment, student learning
Evidence of academic, clinical or professional leadership
Commitment to ethical practice and professional psychology standards
Preferred
Experience in APAC-accredited psychology programs
Course leadership, accreditation, academic governance experience
Experience mentoring academics
Experience in online, blended, simulation-based learning
Record of developing research, clinical,



industry partnerships
Expertise in clinical psychology education, psychological assessment, AI-enabled learning, translational mental health
Responsibilities
Provide strategic academic leadership in clinical psychology education
Teach and coordinate postgraduate psychology units
Lead curriculum design, review and innovation
Strengthen assessment quality and academic standards
Contribute to accreditation and academic governance
Supervise honours, masters, doctoral research students
Provide leadership in clinical education and placements
Establish research, scholarship or professional practice agenda
Develop research, clinical and qualified partnerships
Mentor academic staff
Represent ISN in academic, clinical and professional networks
