What you'll be doing
As a Pharmacy Technician in Production Services and Clinical Trials Management, you'll provide essential technical support across cancer care pharmacy services. Your work will directly contribute to the safe and timely preparation and supply of medicines used in cancer treatment and clinical research.
- Prepare and reconstitute chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies and other medicines,
including raw chemical and medicinal agents in powder and liquid forms.
- Support cancer clinical trials, drug distribution, inventory management, dispensing and related pharmacy production activities.
- Deliver accurate, timely and patient-focused pharmacy services across cancer care and other pharmacy areas as required.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, support staff and students, while contributing to a positive team environment.
- Participate in quality assurance, performance monitoring and professional development activities that strengthen pharmacy services and patient outcomes.

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Pharmacy Technician Grade 3 - Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support OR has qualifications deemed to be equivalent.
Selection Criteria: * Demonstrated good communication skills.
- Demonstrated satisfactory hospital pharmacy experience in Australia (or equivalent) as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Demonstrated competency in performing complex tasks in specialised areas of hospital pharmacy practice.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise large workload and have good time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Willing and able to participate in sterile (including cytotoxic) manufacturing when required.
- Must be willing and able to work late shifts and overtime on weekends as required.
