Assistant Parts Manager - Porsche Centre Melbourne

An exciting full time opportunity is available for an experienced Assistant Parts Manager to join Porsche Centre Melbourne in Collingwood.

This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive parts professional ready to take the next step in their career and support the leadership, performance and growth of the Parts Department.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Parts Manager, you will support the day-to-day operation of the Parts Department across retail, internal, wholesale and trade sales.

You will lead and mentor the Parts Team, drive customer service and sales outcomes, support inventory control and act as the first level of cover for the Group Parts Manager when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Group Parts Manager with daily department operations
- Lead, mentor and support the Parts Team
- Act as cover for the Group Parts Manager when required
- Identify, source and supply genuine Porsche parts
- Manage retail, wholesale, trade and internal parts sales
- Build strong customer relationships and maximise sales opportunities
- Support sales targets, KPIs and continuous improvement
- Assist with inventory, stocktakes, ordering and freight management
- Manage warranty, returns and parts administration
- Provide technical parts advice to customers and workshop staff
- Assist with payroll and relevant team administration
- Maintain high standards of customer service, safety and compliance

What We're Looking For

- Previous automotive Parts Interpreter or Senior Parts Interpreter experience




- Leadership or supervisory experience is highly regarded
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive parts and systems
- Excellent customer service, communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to grow parts sales and achieve KPIs
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with dealership and parts cataloguing systems
- A proactive, positive and team-focused approach
