What you'll be doing
The Team Leader will coordinate the day to day operation of the telephonists by managing staff, the roster, work flow and priorities. The role will also have responsibility to mentor, coach and develop team members, ensuring services are provided within agreed timeframes.
The Team Leader will provide telephony assistance as required, particularly during high call demand or in instances of unexpected vacancies .
The Team leader will work in collaboration with the CHW Patient Administration Manager to ensure quality of service and expedite the identification, resolution and escalation of issues as required.

Responses to the questions below: * Experience in the supervision of staff within a busy switchboard/call centre environment and in leading team to maximise staff performance.
- Demonstrated ability to develop & maintain an electronic 24 hour, 7 day a week rotating roster.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, while managing competing work priorities and work flow within allocated resources
- Ability to make clear and concise decisions, learn and create new processes required for the department.
- Experience in operating a switchboard, exposure to Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook, Excel and ability to use other systems such as IPM, Healthroster, Staff Link, HETI (or similar)
