About us:
We're all about helping little people reach their big potential! The Paediatric Allied Health Team supports children and families across Central Queensland through both inpatient and outpatient services, including the Child Development Service (CDS).
CDS brings together a multidisciplinary team to assess children aged 0–8 years who have developmental differences or complex developmental delays. We work alongside families, not just with them, helping parents and carers better understand their child's development, make informed decisions and connect with the right supports at the right time.
From early intervention and education to community-based services, we help families navigate the journey, build confidence and give every child the best possible start.
About the role:
- Keep the wheels turning. Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Paediatric Allied Health team, helping clinicians stay organised and focused on delivering great care.
- Keep families connected. Coordinate letters, appointments, records and communications, making sure children, families and carers receive clear, timely and family-friendly information.
- Make the details count. Manage data,
reports, rosters, payroll, records and other administrative processes with accuracy, while juggling priorities and solving problems along the way.
- Bring people together. Build strong relationships across the Health Service and support rural and remote outreach, helping more children and families access the right services, wherever they live.
About you:
- You have experience coordinating healthcare services and providing high-level administrative support, ideally in specialist, outpatient or paediatric settings.
- Can turn information into clear, accurate correspondence, reports and documentation, while keeping an eagle eye on the details.
- Confident collecting, checking and reporting data using modern computer systems, and you understand how good data helps services run better.
- Build great relationships, communicate confidently, manage competing priorities and work independently and as part of a team. You're also keen to spot opportunities, improve processes and make the patient experience even better.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $121,124 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $48.60 - $53.54 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
Additional Benefits:
- Ongoing Professional Development and Education Opportunities
- Adaptable Work-Life Balance and Variety
- Generous Salary Sacrificing Options
- Paid Parental Leave
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Discounted Private Health Insurance
- Fitness Passport
Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) requirements:
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.
