About Us

The Primary Care and Community Health Unit consists of 9 centres that provide a range of services for children, young people and their families, adults, older people and their carers. Our services range from health promotion, prevention and early detection through to assessment, treatment and continuing care. Our staff work in partnership with schools, GPs, hospitals, non-government agencies and other organisations to provide care across our centres, in people's homes, other community venues as well as virtual care (telehealth).
Are you a highly organised and motivated professional with a passion for driving projects, service improvement and meaningful change in healthcare? We are seeking a Project Officer to support the delivery of strategic initiatives across Primary Care and Community Health.
In this role, you will implement and support a range of project activities that contribute to achieving operational requirements and organisational objectives. Working within a dynamic and collaborative environment,
you will assist in the coordination and delivery of complex projects, ensuring they are effectively planned, monitored and implemented to achieve sustainable outcomes for patients, communities and stakeholders.

What you will bring to the role * Relevant tertiary qualifications in Healthcare and/or relevant equivalent project management, healthcare redesign and work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in analytical and problem-solving skills that lead to the development of and implementation of innovative solutions.
- High level written communication skills and the ability to generate and present oral, written and graphical reports and presentations.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities at once while maintaining relationships, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively build and maintain productive working relationships with a range of health services and professionals at all levels.
- Intermediate MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Current, valid NSW Driver License and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
