We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 3 civil contractor on a complex $70 million major project, located approximately three hours from Brisbane.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused professional looking to take the next step in their career and gain exposure to a significant, technically complex civil project while working alongside an experienced commercial team.

The Opportunity

Working on site and reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day contract administration and commercial functions across the project.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the day-to-day contract administration requirements of the project
- Subcontract administration and management
- Preparation and assessment of progress claims
- Variations, extensions of time and contractual correspondence
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Procurement and commercial support
- Managing subcontractor claims and commercial negotiations
- Maintaining accurate project records and contractual documentation
- Supporting the Commercial Manager across broader project commercial matters
- Working closely with project management, engineering and construction teams

About You

We are looking to speak with Contracts Administrators or Quantity Surveyors who have:

- 5+ years' post-graduate experience
- Previous experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 civil contractor
- Strong contract administration and commercial skills
- Experience working on complex civil construction projects
- A solid understanding of subcontract management, variations and claims
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to work autonomously in a site-based workplace
- A practical, commercial approach and strong attention to detail

The Project & Roster





This is a genuine opportunity to work on a $70 million complex civil project and gain valuable exposure to a major project environment.

The project is located approximately three hours outside Brisbane and operates on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off DIDO roster.
