We are seeking an enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team at Newport Gardens Early Years Centre.

We are a large family friendly team whom are flexible and value childrens voices. We have a beautiful environment, amazing outdoors including a bush garden. We have efficient planning time, training opportunities including an annual conference where we all of ECMS come together and we close for two weeks at Christmas and not to mention a coffee shop across the road.

This is a full-time, ongoing role working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

About you

- You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference.

- You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child.

- You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member.

- You have a drive to grow and improve continually.

- You value kindness and respect.

- You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations.

- You hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a current WWCC, Mandatory Reporting Certificate,



Foundations of Child Safety training certificate, Police Check, and First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificate.

About the role

- You’ll develop a high-quality educational program for the 3/4-year-old program in consultation with children, families and educators to achieve agreed outcomes for children.

- You'll create a supportive environment where children are safeguarded to learn and grow.

- You'll develop and implement engaging learning experiences based on the ECMS pedagogical framework.

- You'll build strong relationships with children, families, the community and colleagues.

- You'll actively participate in a culture of reflection and continuous improvement.
