About the role
Launch your radiography career in a supportive graduate program designed to help you build confidence, capability and experience across a broad range of medical imaging services. Based at Redcliffe Hospital and Brighton Health Campus, this 12-month New Graduate Radiographer opportunity offers structured learning, clinical mentoring and exposure to a diverse patient population within a busy and expanding Medical Imaging Department.
Working alongside experienced radiographers and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, you will progressively develop the skills required to perform a full scope of general X-ray examinations while gaining experience across emergency imaging, mobile radiography, fluoroscopy and theatre imaging. This is an excellent opportunity to establish strong foundations in contemporary radiography practice while contributing to safe, compassionate and patient-centred care.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver medical imaging services in accordance with professional, ethical and legislative requirements while participating in a structured graduate development program.
- Perform approved imaging examinations safely and professionally under appropriate supervision while developing clinical judgement and technical capability.
- Communicate effectively with patients,
carers and multidisciplinary team members to support safe, efficient and patient-focused care.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability and a commitment to ongoing learning through participation in mentoring, education and professional development activities.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, protected work practices and service development activities that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
