About the Role
Are you a commercially astute finance leader who thrives on turning insights into action and influencing business performance?
We're looking for a Head of Commercial Finance to join our Finance Leadership Team and play a critical role in shaping the financial future of Jurlique. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll lead Group financial planning, forecasting, reporting and commercial finance activities while partnering closely with senior leaders across our global business.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision making, improving profitability and delivering commercial insights that influence business outcomes. You'll lead a team of finance professionals across key markets while partnering with leaders across Sales, Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain and People & Culture.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Performance
- Lead and continuously improve the Group budgeting, forecasting and financial planning framework.
- Provide accurate forecasting, scenario modelling and commercial insights to support business performance.
- Partner with market leaders and operational teams to ensure alignment around financial targets and business priorities.
- Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and reporting capability across the Group.
Commercial Finance & Decision Support
- Act as the primary commercial finance partner to the CFO and senior leadership team.
- Develop business cases and investment analysis to support strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.
- Provide financial modelling, scenario planning and analytics to support key business decisions.
- Monitor and track financial performance, commercial initiatives and strategic projects.
Leadership & Business Partnership
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of five finance professionals across multiple markets.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Build trusted relationships with business leaders and act as a key adviser across functions and regions.
- Support and influence decision making through strong business partnering and commercial insight.
Reporting, Governance & Financial Control
- Oversee Group reporting, Board reporting and financial analysis activities.
- Partner with the broader Finance team to ensure strong financial controls, governance and reporting integrity.
- Support audit, compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
Drive improvements in profitability reporting, cost analysis and business performance measurement.
About You
We're looking for a confident and influential finance leader who combines solid technical expertise with exceptional commercial acumen. You'll bring:
- CA or CPA qualification.
- Significant experience in commercial finance, FP&A; or finance leadership roles.
- Experience within Retail, FMCG and/or Manufacturing environments.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and commercial analysis.
- Deep understanding of financial control, management reporting and accounting principles.
- Experience leading high-performing teams and developing talent.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
- Strong influencing and communication capabilities, with experience working at executive level.
- TM1 (Cognos) experience.
- A proactive, strategic and results-focused leadership style.
